Jim McBee's Mostly Exchange Web Log
Jim's Web Log: Ramblings related mostly to Microsoft Exchange, IT security, bug notices, workarounds, tips, PowerShell, and stuff. Sometimes Active Directory, 4Runners, trains, GoT, Siberian Huskies, social commentary, politics, events, religion, or humor, but, well, mostly Exchange.

Hey Jim! I can't seem to find a recent email address for you (I only seem to have one from CTA for you) so I figured I'd leave my Happy Birthday greeting here. :-)
So, Happy Birthday old man! Hope you're doing well!
Hi Jim,
I am having a strange issue with recipient policies. I have a Mixed Exchange2003 and Exchange 2007 environment. The problem I am running into is that we accept mail for many domains and when I create a new user in EX2007 or Exchange2003 it is getting stamped with all of our addresses in our domain. It appears that the new users are only being pulled from our default policy. I have another policy set up that should stamp it with our primary domain only. I was on the phone with Microsoft for 4 hours today and the guy seemed to be grasping at straws. Any help would be much appreciated.
Aloha Jimbo 24x7 bradda,
Long time since we talked (early NMCI build out days in Hawaii). Anyway I liked your thoughts on the over-worked society that is 7th in production. I just came back from 3 years in Asia and its they are moving at lightening speed. Wireless is so far ahead of US its pathetic. Not only the telecom industry but transportation automation and energy efficiency are staggeringly better in Asia. Anyway, when is the 24SEVEN Exchange 2007 book coming out?
