Mastering Exchange Server 2010 book

I'm pleased to annouce that I have now started work on a new book: Mastering Exchange Server 2010. Putting together a book of this size is a massive effort and one I certainly cannot do on my own. Exchange MVP David Elfassy is working as a co-author. Devin Ganger has supplied us with some content as has Randy Williams, Doug Fidler, Michael J. Smith, and Martin Tuip.

I'm on Facebook

I have been a slacker when it comes to posting! But, fear not, I have some content stored up. Just no time to get it posted. Partially, because I just joined Facebook and have spent time playing. If anyone is interested in seeing boring pictures of me standing in front of things, come on down! :-)

Exchange and Windows Connections 2009 in Las Vegas

The Exchange and Windows Connections shows in Las Vegas are just around the corner. Join Mark Minasi, Steve Riley, Tony Redmond, Dan Holme, Jeffrey Hicks, Darren Mar-Elia, William Lefkovics, Kieran McCorry, and a host of other excellent speakers for this great event. The Connections conferences have always been my favorite conference to not only speak for, but to attend.

The main conference runs from November 9 - 12, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center with pre-conference and post-conference sessions taking place on either side of that. I'm stoked to once again be speaking! My sessions include:
  • Amaze Your Friends and Users with Global Address List Tips and Tricks
  • E-mail Message Security Revisited
  • Exchange Server: Your Top Questions Answered
  • Zen and the Art of Exchange Performance Monitoring

Exchange Server 2010 and Windows Server 2008

If you have not found this out already, keep this in mind for future Exchange Server 2010 planning. Exchange Server 2010 *only* runs on Windows Server 2008 x64 or Windows Server 2008 R2 x64. I recommend starting out with Service Pack 2 due to the number of patches that will be required if you are running SP1. And, there is NO x86 bit test version.
